Digiweb has launched WebSubmit | Eontec has been selected by Canadian Imperial
Bank of Commerce to supply a strategic development platform



Mobile phone users throughout the Czech Republic will now be able to avail of a
range of SMS and e-mail based advanced messaging applications following the
licensing of Networks 365's mzone agora technology by Oskar a.s, the Czech
Republic's newest mobile operator.

Digiweb, a specialist hosting provider, has launched a new Webmaster tool,
WebSubmit. This piece of software allows users to instantly submit their Web site
to the Top 40 Search Engines. WebSubmit is available to use free of charge at HREF="http://www.submit.ie">http://www.submit.ie.

IBM has introduced its first Intel-based servers featuring the IA-32 Intel
Xeon Processor MP and incorporating IBM's enterprise x-architecture.

Fujitsu Limited has signed a licensing agreement to develop its future 3G
mobile phones based on Symbian OS. Symbian OS is an open operating system that
allows manufacturers to market data-enabled mobile phones that can run compelling
third party
applications, content and services.

Eontec has been selected by Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) to
supply a strategic development platform for its retail banking technology and
operations. The company will work with CIBC to deliver customised
multi-channel banking services and consistent customer experience for over six
million customers across the bank's Canadian operations. The five-year
agreement encompasses the deployment of Eontec's EJB-based multi-channel
architecture (MCA) and an enterprise-wide license for its full product suite.

J.D. Edwards & Company and Unisys are forming a strategic alliance to
offer J.D. Edwards OneWorld with the Unisys e-action Enterprise Server ES7000.


Siemens Information and Communication Networks Group (ICN) has been
awarded a USD40 million contract to build a nationwide high capacity optical
backbone network for China Mobile.

An on-line petition called HREF="http://www.broadband4britain.co.uk">www.broadband4britain.co.uk
has been launched in the UK on Wednesday as a catalyst for change in the stagnant
broadband landscape. The petition aims to demonstrate the frustration of British
companies, and the public at the state of high-speed broadband services to homes
and businesses in the UK. It is hoped, when presented with the petition, the
government will do something to help accelerate the roll out of broadband.

Internet household penetration in central and eastern Europe (CEE) will grow
quickly over the next five years, from just over five percent now to 21 percent
in 2005, according to a new Yankee Group Report. However, penetration will
continue to lag well behind western European levels and within the CEE region
there will be very wide variations in takeup.

business-to-business exchange portal for farm inputs and an new way to look at
agri-business.
