Xiam appoints vice president for global sales | WS2 appoints business development
manager



Xiam Limited has appointed Colm Doherty to the position of vice president
for global sales responsible for heading up the company's international sales and
developing further channels of distribution. Most recently Doherty was based in
Silicon Valley as vice president and general manager of Amicus Software.
Previously he worked with Connect.com.au, Australia's third largest ISP. Prior
to that he founded and managed an international technology and software licensing
business for Lake Datacoms Ltd. (formerly Cornel) in Dublin, Ireland.

Technology Sales Leads (TSL), the Irish technology marketing company,
announced the appointment of a UK business development manager, Colin McNair.

WS2, the Dublin-based applications development company, has appointed
Conor Molloy as its new business development manager. Molloy will be responsible
for growing sales, developing partnerships and marketing for the company. Molloy
previously worked with Corel as international e-business manager and country
sales manager. In 1996 he co-founded and helped build an imaging distributor
company, Photologic limited. Prior to that he spent nine years with Kodak
managing and developing the digital and applied imaging and business imaging
divisions in Ireland having previously worked in the print industry with
Lithographic Universal.

Network Associates announced that Michele Fitzpatrick will join the
company as president of the Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) region. In her new
role, Fitzpatrick will lead the team responsible for sales and business
operations throughout the region. She joins from Oracle, where she was most
recently the senior vice president, general business for EMEA. During her tenure,
Fitzpatrick built Oracle's channel program in EMEA. She previously held director
and vice president titles for Lotus/IBM and Santa Cruz Operation (SCO) Ltd.,
respectively.

McDATA Corporation has appointed Juergen Carbon as senior sales manager,
channels EMEA. Carbon will develop additional indirect distribution channels for
McDATA's solutions and will provide additional support for McDATA's complete line
of hardware, software and services solutions.

Time Warner Cable announced a new organisational structure, completing
senior management changes begun in August following the appointment of Glenn
Britt as chairman and chief executive officer. John Billock, president of the US
Network Group at HBO, has been named vice chairman and chief operating officer of
Time Warner Cable. Thomas Baxter has been appointed president of Time Warner
Cable. Landel Hobbs, vice president, financial analysis and operations support
at AOL Time Warner, has joined Time Warner Cable as chief financial officer,
replacing Tommy Harris, who is joining the previously announced AOL Time Warner
Interactive Video division as executive vice president. Fred Dressler, Time
Warner Cable's senior vice president, programming, has been appointed executive
vice president, programming.
